Please do not turn back into the waiting cars (this means NO LEFT TURN out of the parking lot).

This afternoon the Caddo Parish School Board unanimously approved an increase in the daily rate of pay for substitute teachers, substitute office clerks, and substitute secretaries. We are grateful to the Board for their continued commitment to our students and staff and efforts to remain competitive in recruiting and retaining the highest quality staff across our district.

First Day of School for 1st through 5th Grade is August 3rd.
PK and Kindergarten students will have a staggered entrance. Pre-K parents will be given start date information at the mandatory parent meeting. Kindergarten teachers will contact individual parents to let them know what day their child will attend. Kindergarten staggered entrance dates are August 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 8th with all students reporting together on Tuesday, August 9th.

Artbreak week is here! Our entire 5th grade Light It Up team was selected for Phase 3 of the Bakowski Bridge of Lights project. This project started out with over 150 students and Phase 3 only has the top 35. We are so proud of their hard work and their teacher Mr. Sowell!
One of our student's light shows has been chosen to be displayed on the bridge tonight at 8:30PM. Each night different shows will be on display. We can't wait to find out if any more of our students will be shown on the bridge this week. Stay tuned!
Mooringsport's display is ready at Artbreak! It will be open to the public May 13, 14, and 15. Lots of activities for the kids! Thank you to our art teacher Mrs. Dix and her team for creating the display!
